The 1940 Mercury Phaeton described herein represented a very good overall example of a traditional Hot Rod conversion.
While retaining the basic external looks and characteristics of this seventy eight year old classic automobile, this extremely rare '40 Mercury Phaeton looks just as if it were custom fabricated way back in the late fifties and early sixties.
With features such as a small block Chevy motor, and a custom upholstered interior.
As noted on the extensive Hot Rod Conversion pages, and as depicted on the many enclosed digital photographs, this Hot Rod was custom fabricated using the many of the finest modern components available at that time.
The 1940 Mercury Phaeton is an extremely rare automobile.
