Structured Cabling Technician


Outsource is on the hunt for an experienced cable technician for commercial installation projects in the Greater Los Angeles area.
We represent a majority of the regions most established and fastest growing low voltage contractors, and we are looking for a reliable voice and data cable technician for project based and full time work.
The basic scope of work for the cable tech position includes:
Pulling CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable in a new construction commercial environment
Terminating phone jacks
Dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
Testing cable/troubleshooting networking issues
Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
Requirements:
At least 3 months of experience working as a cable technician, specifically installing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
Willingness to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
Reliable transportation

Weekly Pay: $10 - $20 / Hour Depending on Experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
