We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host.
As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and guest relations.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive, engaging in friendly conversation and providing information about the establishment Manage reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely updates Organize seating arrangements efficiently, considering server workload and table turnover Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and dining room Communicate effectively with serving staff and management to coordinate guest needs Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly Assist in managing waitlists during peak times Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to facilitate a seamless dining experience Uphold company policies and standards of service at all times Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Guest-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service Proficiency in reservation management software Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance to our full-time team members Paid vacation and sick time PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Constant walking with some standing.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop.
Frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Exposure to possible extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate to loud.
The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests.
Work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
