We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our team.
As an Assistant Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with planning and executing various events, ensuring their success from start to finish with expert on-the-job training.
This is a dynamic role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and coordinating all aspects of events.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements - Develop event timelines and schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time - Coordinate event setup, including arranging seating, audiovisual equipment, and decorations - Coordinate payment schedules and collect payments from clients.
- Assist with promotional materials.
-Perform administrative and office management duties - Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations - Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience with event planning software is a plus - Ability to type accurately and efficiently - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to proofread documents for accuracy and clarity - Data entry skills for maintaining event databases - Familiarity with Outlook Calendar for scheduling meetings and appointments If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for event planning and exceptional organizational skills, we would love to hear from you.
