Coast Pet Supply and Grooming Coast Pet Supply and Grooming Laguna Beach, CA Laguna Beach, CA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $18 - $21 an hour $18 - $21 an hour Duties - Perform grooming services on a variety of dogs - Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur according to client preferences and breed standards - Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment - Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services - Maintain accurate records of each pet's grooming history Experience - Previous experience in pet grooming or related field is preferred - Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements - Familiarity with grooming tools and equipment - Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience - Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners Skills:
- Heavy lifting:
Ability to lift heavy animals or objects as required in a grooming setting.
- Customer service:
Excellent interpersonal skills to provide friendly and helpful service to pet owners.
- Pet grooming:
Proficiency in various grooming techniques, such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling.
- Animal handling:
Ability to safely handle animals during the grooming process, including restraining when necessary.
